Source dates
Btao's list says it was last updated August 17, 2026, and TechTiq's April 2026. Prices may have moved since, so treat them as indicative. Btao notes 5G phones in Pakistan start at around PKR 37,000, so there's no 5G at this budget.
How to choose
- Need updates? Pick Samsung.
- Want a big AMOLED screen? Tecno Spark 20 Pro+.
- Light user? Redmi 14C.
Before you pay: the PTA check every buyer should do
In Pakistan, a phone that is not PTA approved stops working on local SIMs once it is blocked. Before you pay, dial *#06# to see the IMEI, then SMS each IMEI to 8484 or check it on the PTA DIRBS website. On a dual-SIM phone, check both IMEIs. Ask for a sealed box, an official warranty card and a proper bill. More in how to check IMEI.
Official warranty vs non-PTA stock
Non-PTA phones are often much cheaper, but you either use them on Wi-Fi only or pay PTA tax to register them, and on pricier phones the tax can exceed the price gap. For budget phones, an official-warranty, PTA-approved unit is almost always the smarter buy. See our PTA registration and tax guide.
Bigger budget: best mobile under 50,000 in Pakistan or under Rs 100,000.
Which specs matter in a budget phone?
Battery and charging
In this price range, battery size is where phones differ most. A 6,000 to 7,000 mAh battery usually lasts a full day of heavy use. Check the charging speed too: a 7,000 mAh battery on a 15W charger can take hours to fill.
Screen
A 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate makes scrolling smoother. AMOLED panels show deeper blacks than LCD, though they are less common at low prices.
Chip and memory
Budget chips handle calls, WhatsApp, YouTube and social apps well. If you game or keep many apps open, pick more RAM and a stronger chip. Choose at least 128GB of storage if you take many photos.
Camera
Megapixel numbers can mislead. A 50MP or 108MP main camera doesn't guarantee good photos, especially at night. Look at sample photos in reviews before you decide on camera alone.
Software updates
Security updates keep banking and payment apps safe. Check the brand's update policy if you plan to keep the phone three years or more.
Why we don't pick on one spec
Shop listings often push one big number, such as a 108MP camera or a huge battery. In practice, a balanced phone with a decent chip, enough storage, a bright screen and a battery that charges in reasonable time is a better daily companion. We compare the specs that the cited sources list, and we don't claim to have tested these phones ourselves.
Questions to ask the shop
- Is this the official-warranty version, and for how long?
- Is the box sealed, and do the IMEIs on the box match the phone?
- What's the return or exchange policy if the phone has a fault?
- Does the price include a charger in the box?
- Is the bill in my name, with the IMEI printed?
Keeping costs low after you buy
The phone is only part of the cost. Pick a data pack that matches your real usage, use Wi-Fi at home, and buy a case and screen protector on day one: a cracked screen often costs a large share of a budget phone's price to fix. If you plan to sell the phone later, keep the box and bill; they raise resale value.
About this snapshot
We gathered every price and plan detail on this page on November 5, 2026, from the dated sources listed below. Local prices change with exchange rates, taxes and stock, and operators change packs without notice. If a source was dated earlier, we say so. Treat the tables as a starting point and confirm on the official app, website or shop before you pay.
How to compare packs fairly
Work out the cost per GB, or the cost per day of validity, rather than comparing headline prices. A pack that looks cheaper may give much of its data only at night, or may exclude calls to other networks. Taxes are usually included in Pakistani prices shown by operators, but always check the final deduction message after you subscribe.
Where our figures come from
We compile prices from operator pages where they load, and from established listing sites where they don't. When two sources disagree, we show both rather than pick one. We don't receive anything from operators for listing their packages. If you spot a price that has changed, the operator app is the authority, and we update our guides when we re-check the sources.
